Charging Problem with Dell Latitude

I have a Latitude C800. It was working fine until I was using it and the battery went dead after about 90 min. of use. When I plugged the AC charger in, the charge light came on for a few seconds then began flashing. Left it flash for some time, and apparently was not charging. I checked the Dell website, followed their instructions for resetting, still not charging. They suggested a defective battery. I just recieved a new battery, installed it and the charge light still blinks, just not as fast. Has anyone had similar problems? Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks

RE: dual pane windows

Just one more vote in favor of dual panes. I have a 99 Kountry Star, no problems, knock on wood! They make the trailer much more comfortable.

RE: Seals - Marker lights -- necessary?

I have had two leaks. One was around a clearance light. The water was coming in behind the light. I removed all the lights and put sealant behind them and in the screw holes. The other leak was a window that was not sealed properly. If you pull one light and look how it was installed, it should tell you if you should reseal the others.

What Type of Caulk Should I Use

I would like to know if anyone has found a caulk that dries with a smooth finish that dust and dirt will not adhere to. The silicone caulk I have been using seems to cure with a sticky finish. Any suggestions?

RE: Weak Inverter

What caused me to check the voltage was that the TV worked, but the Satelite receivers broke up on some stations. I wondered if voltage was the problem. Maybe not. The receivers works fine on shore power. Gil

Weak Inverter

I have a Cobra Highgear 500 watt continuous, inverter. DC input voltage is 13.5. AC output voltage is 95.6. Any ideas what the problem could be? Might this be fixable, or should I just buy a new one? Thanks, Gil

RE: NOAA Weather Radio

Just won the bid on a Midland WR-100. Got it for $27.75 with the shipping. I am anxious to get it and see how it works. Thanks again, Gil

RE: NOAA Weather Radio

Good info. Does this mean that as we travel, we would constantly have to reprogram the radio, or will it search for stations until you get to a location that you will be for awhile?

RE: NOAA Weather Radio

Thanks for your interest. I have an older model without SAME tech. It is a Oregon Scientific Mod.# WR-3000. It has manual dial tuning. Maybe a new one is a good idea.

RE: NOAA Weather Radio

Thanks for input. I do try to change channels. When I take it outside of the RV it works much better. It has an extendable antenna with no place to plug in an external antenna.

NOAA Weather Radio

I have a NOAA weather alert radio in my fifth wheel. Many places I get very poor reception, or none at all. I am wondering if the aluminum frame is causing interference. Anyone else have this problem? What may be a good solution? Thanks

Do Not Resusciate Bracelet

We are fulltimers and residents of South Dakota. Has anyone addressed the issue of how to obtain a DNR bracelet, and whether or not a bracelet would be sufficient while traveling, to inform EMS personal of your wishes. Any info on this subject will be greatly apperciated.
